Who am I?
My name is Ruth Gathergood, and I am an author who primarily writes mystery and horror works. I grew up in Zimbabwe, and moved to England as a young adult. I had an interesting upbringing, but found trouble when I moved to the UK. The culture was very difficult for me to accustom to, and I found myself fearful often times. I got married and raised 3 successful children. Now, I put my fears to paper, in a way that is hopefully captivating.
What does my writing show?
Much of my writing reflects how I viewed some of the horrors of England and my homeland. A lot of the world is suffering; I want to show the world for what it is, but do so in an entertaining way. Please join me in my journey to make horror more diverse, and in doing so, show different perspectives to the scary storytelling genre we know and love.

The Offering
After the Thomsons, the Lawrences moved into Bramwell, and the ordeal is far from over. The cult has taken a turn growing stronger and stronger by the moment. The hauntings remain, and a sacrifice has to be done. The Lawrences fight the phenomena with very little hope. Father Dowling returns together with father Thomas to assist. The fate of the Lawrence family lies heavily on outside help. For Suzanna, the past is coming back again.
I am currently working on a new book that is in a quite different genre. It is my first venture into something outside of horror, and it will be releasing for free very soon.
